Medicine
Although I had never planned on working in the field of medicine and was never attracted to the conventional-medical world view, I decided to pursue a career in the field of alternative medicine following my encounter with classical homeopathy. This fascinating and powerful system of medicine has changed the way I view not only health and disease but reality at large. Thus inspired, I studied naturopathic medicine, a system that combines conventional medical knowledge with several alternative approaches, at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, receiving a Naturopathic Doctor (N.D.) diploma in 2004.
According to classical homeopathy, disease symptoms are manifestations of an underlying disorder on a level deeper than mind and body, a level which may be termed spiritual or energetic. Homeopathy does not fit our current scientific understanding of the world, and is therefore ostracized by mainstream academia. But when considered from more progressive, unorthodox scientific perspectives such as that of morphic resonance (as discussed in Rupert Sheldrake’s A New Science of Life (1981) and The Presence of the Past (1988)), the reality of homeopathy becomes very plausible. In any event, homeopathy offers remarkable clinical results as well as a much deeper perspective on reality than the one sactioned by the ‘old scientific guard’ (a topic that relates to my interest in science and philosophy).
I work with many patients on a long-distance basis. My online clinic website can be found at: www.homeopathic-doctor.com, and I have a homeopathy blog named Homeopathy Zone.
